my soul sister rose asked me to house~sit, cat~sit and garden~sit for her...and for the past week i have thoroughly enjoyed my~lovely~self at her family's home.
she has 2 beautiful little boys i wanted to thank also.
so....
i left them a message on their driveway for them to discover when they arrive home today.
i so appreciated my little vacation.
~*~
i had a garden to play in once again.
~*~
and a lawn to burry my feet in...oh! i so love to ground mySELF in the grass.
i had forgotten how much mother earth loves to nourish me.
(note to self...find grass to sit in more often...how could i forget???)
~*~
i live in a beautiful townhome now...i can on occasion hear my neighbors.
it was so quiet while staying in rose's home.
~*~
and the raspberries were ripe for picking....2x a day and whenever i felt like it.
JOY! to be able to walk out every morning and pick fresh raspberries for breakfast.
~*~
rose lives in a newer development and the trees are not yet full grown.
at night i was able to sit on her deck for hours and watch the MANY stars twinkling.
the big dipper was right over my head *****~******
~*~
the boys have a medium size pool. it has been a hot and humid week. i swam everyday and "dipped" at night under the moon and stars.
~*~
rose was kind enough to leave a little "directory" of nature parks for me to go explore, sit IN and photograph.
and i did.
aaaaaahhhhhh.....rejuvination!!!!
~*~
and tobe....their kitty....
he was sooooo not liking me at first...he was missing his boys...and they were missing him.
i photographed him and sent the pictures to them so they knew he was ok.
~*~
me...when i left this morning.
thank you bro family!
i had so much fun and found peace & clarity while i stayed in your beautiful home.
in beauty,
Pamela

also...
as part of my class at 10 SUMMER PHOTOS NOW assignment 4 was to photograph outdoor play. i VERY much enjoyed playing with sidewalk chalk this morning :)
Oh, this is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteI love how it all flows together. The simplicity of white chalk on a black driveway. The creativity of a thank-you card all over a driveway that was made with simple, elegant lines ... I could just imagine the peacful, relaxing time you had from reading this post.
What a nice think to do for you! I think it's so sweet.
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun idea. Your love notes are so sweet. I hope your friends enjoyed their welcome home.
