i was lost in the color of cattails a couple of days ago.

i think i am working on a project.

i'm not quite sure yet what it is...but maybe...just maybe it might be a

bliss book.

for those of you who have been around for the past 3+ years...

you know me by my bliss e-mails.

you know...the ones i used to send out on a near daily basis with photos and words of inspiration.

the ones i stopped sending out because i wasn't FEELing it any more because of life circumstances.

i so did not want to send something out that i wasn't FEELing mySelf.

i made the decision it would have been

an untruth to send them.

so i stopped.

anyway....

in the past couple of days something VERY exciting happened.

i was contacted by a feng shui artist/decorator asking for some of my images she had seen and was interested in using.

so...i had to dig DEEP DEEP into my photo archieves to find them.

in the end...she was unable to use them for sizing reasons.

but...WHAT AN EXCELLENT LEARNING PROCESS it has been...and i am so grateful someone wished to use them....whether she could or couldn't...the EXPERIENCE was part of the journey.

day 14 assignment...cool breeze.

it was hot, humid, windy and stormy today.

very easy to capture the breeze in all things.

this was my favorite...in the maple leaves.

they were singing all day.

mmmm.....i found a fairy hammock the other morning...

there were several...

but

 this one caught my eye.

i would love to lounge on it.

i play/work in this garden....

it is one of 3 in this particular "job".

these are my co-workers in this garden....the spirea bushes, black~eyed susans and native grasses.

ummm....i have a love affair with black~eyed susans...it is a personal thing....and i am so happy they are joining me.

did i mention the very large boulders...we get along fabulous.

mmm...such strong energy and eye pleasing also ~*~

but the birch trees in the 2nd garden are by far my favorite co-workers.

i love to be underneath them while tidying up their feet.

they create a fairy glen...and space for the non~physical...

we have many conversations together here.

...and their leaves speak in the wind of gypsee and traveling...

i love raindrops on the leaves of a lady's mantle...

park hopping ~**~

this is the 1st year in 13 years that i do not have a garden to love, nurture and sit in....sooooo....i am being creative, improvising...and going with the "au natural" garden route this spring and summer....as in....loving, nurturing and sitting in nature as is....thus my new past~time and hobby....PARK HOPPING.

PARK HOPPING: driving around the cities discovering, investigating and sitting in parks or what~ever natural areas are calling out to me.

rule 1....just drive
rule 2...no planning
rule 3...there are no rules...i made up the 1st 2.

Neil Park in Burnsville was my 1st park hopping experience....

here is the entrance....i love paths.  this one was screaming...welcome...come in...i have something to show you around the bend.....follow me....

i found this little toadstool in a hidden clearing....the fairies must play~*~**~

oh! oh! oh!  a bridge....

i have to be honest...i lost about 2 hours underneath this willow tree.  it is a magical place...the longer i sat...the more i found, watched and loved....did i mention i lost 2 hours hear????

discoveries....

last week i walked thru my former garden and had the most fun discovering what is saying hello....

oh! hello chocolate mint growing in~between the bricks inside the pavillion....

you are always so cute and perfectly placed...

mmmmm....i love how you smell up close...all chocolate~y...and can we talk bricks?  i love the bricks....all old and weathered...and multicolored...and perfectely not perfect....

....and good morning columbine...you are always one of my favorites...i will save that for another time....but.....your red stems look fabulous next to your blue/green leaves...

mmmm.......hostas....

 

hostas + light = warmth, joy, peace, beauty, perfection and all is right in the world....

...and pebbles with a stray seedling....i am especially fond of the pebble with the stripes.

i love statues and fountains...i have a small obsession with the ones that depict women who are "au natural"....for me personally they represent the inner goddess in women.  their true essence....

this one was at the arboritum my soul sister Kathy and I visited last week....the same one with the beautiful orchid display....see that post if you wish to delight in the orchids.

i think she is beautiful...surrounded by the lush green...very earthy~like....i wanted to be her....
